U.S. Adds 223,000 New Jobs, Unemployment Rate Drops and Labor Force Shrinks
The U.S. economy added 223,000 jobs in June, all of them created by the private sector and almost none of them by the nation’s goods producers. Unemployment fell to 5.3 percent.
